Key Responsibilities
Process and verify administrative and financial components of financial clearance, including insurance benefits and pre-certifications
Obtain pre-certifications, authorizations, and referrals for upcoming appointments
Act as a liaison between patients, insurance payors, and providers to secure prior authorization for services
Required Qualifications and Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience with patient registration and insurance verification
Proficient in commercial and government insurance plans and medical terminology
Ability to work with various stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
Proficient in utilizing computer applications and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
