  • The Fleet Associate is responsible for supporting the Fleet Management team in maintaining, organizing, and coordinating the company’s fleet of vehicles.
  • The Dismantler is responsible for properly removing high-valued auto parts and usable core parts in a safe, efficient, and proper manner.
  • This role involves maintenance, tracking, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • They must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Title :

  • Fleet Associate Department : Fleet Reports to : Fleet Manager Hourly Rate : $22 SCHEDULE : Tuesday-Saturday 3PM-12AM   Key Responsibilities :   Repairs and Maintenance Repair and replace malfunctioning parts, including tires, mirrors, and windshield wipers.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as tire replacement and fluid checks.
  • Ensure company vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and charged.
  • Report any vehicle issues or needs promptly.
  • Vehicle Setup Install a variety of equipment and accessories on vehicles, including cameras, emergency gear, phone accessories, and other electronic devices.
  • Ensure all installations are performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Compliance and Safety Ensure all fleet activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
  • Maintain records of vehicle inspections , maintenance, and safety checks.
  • Inventory and Tool Management Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for fleet maintenance.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of inventory and track usage.
  • Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment used in the repair process.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Create, update, and complete work orders in company systems.
  • Update inventory in company systems.
  • Coordination, Administration, and Reporting Schedule regular maintenance and repairs for the fleet to ensure vehicles are safe and operational.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Monitor and track maintenance costs and ensure budget compliance.
  • Assist in the acquisition, registration, and disposal of company vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of all vehicles, including registration, insurance, maintenance, and inspection documents.
  • Update and manage fleet databases and tracking systems to ensure information is current and accurate.
  • Monitor charging usage and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Prepare and analyze fuel consumption reports.
  • Prepare regular reports on fleet status, maintenance, expenses, and utilization.
  • Assist in the development of fleet management policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts related to fleet operations.

    • General Skills & Qualifications :

  • Strong Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unpredictable situations.
  • Handle interacting with various team members on a daily basis.
  • Experience in Fleet is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must have an active driver’s license and be approved on the company’s insurance.  Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.

    • Benefits :

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits are provided through Thatch’s ICHRA, starting on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Paid time off is accrued weekly from the first week of work but cannot be used until after completing 90 days of employment.

    • Eligible employees are required to provide ample notice and get HR / Managerial approval prior to using paid vacations. $40 personal phone reimbursement eligibility depending on position will be issued monthly.  Communication Channels :

  • Email; a towerev, towermobility, or towerwav email will be assigned to you.
  • Dialpad; for making outward calls or receiving inward calls based on department.
  • Microsoft teams; for internal communication between employees.

    • Technology :

  • Stay updated on technological advancements and utilize company tools and resources effectively.
  • Preferred general knowledge on all Microsoft Applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  • General Knowledge of the Uber Application, and its functions.
  • Previous experience in Fleetio is highly desirable.
  • General to Proficient knowledge of Paylocity depending on job position.
  • Be able to quickly learn new apps, software, and dashboards adopted and used within the company.
  • Abide by the company’s cybersecurity policies.

  • Adhere to Tower’s policies and procedures as indicated in the Employee Handbook.
  • Work in a safe and effective manner.

  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Communicate regularly with team members or higher management about work related topics depending on the issues.
  • Demonstrate efficient time management skills.
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Meet applicable productivity standards.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by TowerMobility.

  • Employees must have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
  • Schedules are malleable and may be subject to change.
