Job Description

As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while providing excellent customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual situations encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or travelers as required by the location's needs.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
