Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant Managers and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Jackson, MS area. Mavis operates over 2,000 retail locations and is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
About the Position : Assistant Manager
As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Responsibilities include enforcing established policies, procedures and standards; scheduling mechanics / technicians; managing outside orders; ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and maintaining the safety of team members.
About the Position : Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. They ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance, direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, and stage vehicle repair / maintenance work. Service Managers drive sales initiatives, communicate with customers to assess needs, provide information regarding recommended automotive repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations.
