About the Position
In this role, you'll support the daily financial operations of Maricopa County through a variety of accounting and administrative tasks. From reconciling accounts and processing payments to compiling financial reports and maintaining accurate records, your work will help ensure transparency, accuracy, and accountability in the County's fiscal management.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organized, detail-oriented work with a focus on precision and problem-solving. You'll play a behind-the-scenes yet essential role in keeping financial systems running smoothly, supporting sound decision-making and efficient use of public resources.
You'll collaborate with departments across the County, vendors, and finance teams to research account issues, process journal vouchers, and audit budget and expenditure documents. Through this work, you'll gain valuable experience in public finance, reporting, and compliance.
