Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department (Level III Trauma Center)

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 30 – 06 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend & Call : Every other weekend and as needed

Unit Size : 19 ED beds, 9 FSED

Patient Ratio : 1 : 4

Orientation : Weekly, on Mondays

Dress Code : Black scrubs

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470 - $1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Texas RN license

At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, ENPC, HWC, PALS, TNCC

Ability to float to other units as needed

Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department

Assess, triage, and manage acute and critical conditions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal outcomes

Document care accurately using Meditech EHR

Maintain required nursing certifications and participate in ongoing education

Follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
