Overview This position is located in NAR's Chicago, IL office only.
Position Summary Reporting to the Marketing Manager of Programs, the Marketing Specialist will manage and assist with various responsibilities related to NAR's Marketing Initiatives and serve as in-house consultant to other NAR teams and Associations. This person thrives at multi-tasking, keeping projects organized and moving forward. Key characteristics for this role include staying current with marketing software, leveraging AI tools and analytics to streamline daily tasks, and demonstrating initiative by taking ownership of projects when opportunities arise—while remaining comfortable following the direction and vision set by the Marketing Managers. The ability to learn NAR programs and initiatives, accurately communicate that information to members and navigate others through Marketing-related events is a big part of this role. The marketing team leads by example with strong communication and presentation skills. We value individual contributions, teamwork, fresh ideas and best practices.
Responsibilities Work directly with Marketing Managers and other stakeholders of the association to develop marketing plans, content, and presentations.
Support strategically focused marketing campaigns and tactics to help achieve yearly conversations for NAR programs.
Stay up-to-date of trends in marketing, seeking out innovative solutions, including AI, that build and strengthen relationships with NAR members and ensure successful integration of those solutions into the comprehensive strategy.
Strategically develop, maintain and distribute marketing content, email blasts, launch points, announcements and collateral, both digital and print.
Manage select schedules of media launch points including submission of approved launch messages through various NAR communication vehicles.
Seek vendor quotes for design and printing; order print materials, flyers, etc.
Manage logistics and communications for NAR events including training, staffing of NAR booth and shipping of booth materials.
Create traffic reports using analytic tools such as Adobe Analytics, Iterable, and Excel.
Track success of marketing campaigns across all digital marketing channels including social media data and email marketing data.
Synthesize analysis to provide insight on campaign performance on all marketing channels.
Maintain channel distribution on behalf of marketing managers for all promotions.
Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications At least 3-5 years of Marketing experience.
Experience with tools like Workfront and Iterable is a plus.
A proactive, can-do attitude with a collaborative spirit.
Ability to manage multiple moving parts and tight deadlines.
Strong writing and communication skills for multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Experience with Email, Content, Digital & Event marketing.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
A solid understanding of how to maintain a consistent style and voice.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics and data-driven strategy.
Compensation : $65,000-$80,000
