Annual Salary : $91,000.00 - $107,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
The main purpose of this job is to meet goals to produce financial plans, number of client meetings, private banking deposits / loans, and new asset management business.
Essential Functions
- Work with senior financial planning team members to review financial information and develop client plans
- Meet with clients / prospects to explain the benefits of financial planning and the general financial planning process
- Work with clients and / or referral sources to gather information needed to prepare the financial plan
- Develop and present financial plans and coordinate any implementation with Commerce Trust Company (CTC) staff or outside providers
- Develop and market the benefits of financial planning to key external and internal referral sources
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Intermediate knowledge of financial planning techniques along with in-depth knowledge of financial plan creation and established financial plan delivery skillsIntermediate knowledge of asset management processIntermediate knowledge of taxation, insurance, estate planning, investments, employee compensation and trust servicesStrong skills on computer applications for client management software and financial planning softwareAbility to manage a complex relationship sales cycle in a team environmentMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and OutlookEducation & Experience
