About This Role : Serves as the Infection Preventionist for all Trinitas Regional Medical Center sites. Responsibilities include : Identification and implementation of infection prevention goals and objectives of TRMC - Works in collaboration with medical and nursing teams and other stakeholders to develop a program that promotes sound and scientific infection prevention principles and practices - Develops policies governing control of infections and communicable diseases - Implements policies governing control of infections and communicable diseases - Conducts surveillance through identifying, reporting, investigating and controlling infections and communicable diseases - Supervises sterile processing functions.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey RN License preferred.

BSN in Nursing and / or Biology, Medical Technology, or related field required.

Current Certification preferred; Must sit for Preventionist exam within two (2) years & maintain certification thereafter.

Previous Infection Control experience is required.
