Join the premier cancer treatment center on the East Coast, Virginia Cancer Institute , a well-respected, growing medical practice in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a Radiology Coordinator for our multiple-location Practice.

The Radiology Coordinator is responsible for organizing the functions within the Radiology Department and will facilitate and balance the daily workload for the technicians.

The qualified applicant should have the ability to screen all incoming calls to the radiology department and appropriately schedule, coordinate, and reschedule patient appointments; network with other practices to ensure their needs are fulfilled; build new patient charts in the EMR, create and complete orders for the appropriate scan, scheduling patients appropriately and providing detailed instructions for specific scans; review orders for completeness and accuracy, communicate any needs for updates or changes to the appropriate Physician team or outside organization; request prior images from outside resources for future scans, ensure receipt then push to PACS; keep accurate records of incoming reports, recording receipt of reports in Proscan and requested addendums.
