The Director of Public Works oversees all City infrastructure, utilities, and park maintenance operations. This leadership position manages the Public Works Department, the municipal electric system, and park facilities to ensure efficient service delivery, public safety, and effective asset management. Qualifications : Specialized training or education in public works or a related field; three years of progressive experience including supervision. Minnesota Class B CDL; ability to obtain Tree Inspector, Pesticide Applicator, and Weed Inspector certifications within one year. Knowledge of maintenance operations, utilities, safety regulations, and budgeting practices. Ability to respond to emergencies within 20 minutes.
