Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Government Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a government location. You will help to deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the overall security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate authorities or Allied Universal management.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.
  • Follow all company procedures and guidelines as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to ride a bike is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
