A health services network in Connecticut is currently seeking alicensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their growing team in Fairfield County.

Responsibilities
The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will :
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose and identify mental health disorders
Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient based on their diagnosis, including therapeutic interventions and medications if necessary
Consider the individual needs, developmental stage, and family dynamics of each patient
Prescribe and monitor the use of psychotropic medications when indicated, such as antidepressants, mood stabilizers, or antipsychotic medications
Provide psychotherapy and counseling to children and adolescents, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and other evidence-based approaches
Handle crisis situations, including suicidal ideation, self-harm, or acute psychiatric emergencies
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and medication prescriptions
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
Board Eligible / Certified inChild & Adolescent Psychiatry
Experience in an Inpatient and / or Outpatient role / setting
