Average # of cases / day : 7-13

Minimal experience : RN - 1.5 years (per system requirement)

Will you accept a first-time traveler? RN - Yes, only with 2+ years of experience

Travelers must live 100 miles away from the facility

Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler

Case Types : Ortho, Podiatry, Neurosurgical, Pain Management, ENT

Total joints, ORIF, Microsurgery, Laminectomy, Fusion, Discectomy, ACDF, Perc TAL for Club foot, Pain injections, ENT

Required Certifications :

RN : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Education Requirements :

RN : Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing;  Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing

Skills required :

RN : Circulation experience in Ortho / Neuro cases; ENT case experience

Support on the Unit :

Phlebotomy? Yes

IV / VAT Team? No

Resource Nurse : Yes

RT : No

Hospitalist : No

Anesthesia / CRNA team

Charting System : Epic – Required
