The Director of Supply Chain Technology is a leadership role responsible for developing and managing the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of the organization's business systems and technology infrastructure. This individual will align business systems with the company's objectives to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation. The Director of Supply Chain Technology works closely with cross-functional leaders to drive digital transformation and ensure the organization's technology supports current and future business needs.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business systems strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Serve as a key member of the Tech & Supply Chain leadership teams, providing insight and recommendations on business systems and technological innovations.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on system performance, project progress, and strategic initiatives.

System Development & Management :

  • Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide systems such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Warehouse Controls Systems (WCS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Execution Systems, and other business-critical platforms.
  • Oversee the integration of new systems with existing technology to ensure seamless operation across departments.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve performance and support growth initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence :

  • Partner with department leaders to understand business needs and ensure systems meet those requirements.
  • Implement best practices and standards for system usage, data governance, and reporting.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business systems.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management :

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and other external partners.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify system needs and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Development :

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of business systems professionals of varying levels.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the department.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience : 10+ years of experience in business systems management, with a proven track record in leadership roles. At least 5 years of people management experience.
  • Skills & Abilities : Strong knowledge of enterprise-level systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other business applications. Experience with digital transformation and system integration projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Manhattan, Bastian or Fortna Solutions
  • Experience in agile methodologies or other project management frameworks.
  • Expertise in cloud-based business applications and emerging technologies.
  • Implementing AI-driven data analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Retail experience, specifically implementing leading edge solutions at other retailers with similar supply chain landscape.
  • Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.

    The pay ranges outlined below are presented in accordance with state-specific regulations. These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.

    Salary Range : $163,100.00 - $244,600.00
