We are looking for an Associate Producer (Video, Photography, Audio) to join our Hilton Head office location. As the Associate Producer at 9Rooftops, you will be responsible for scoping, defining, managing and lead implementation of each project from conception to completion as assigned by the Producer. Acting as one of the main contacts between all internal and external resources, you will ensure that projects are well defined, completed on time and supporting documents are archived accordingly. The ideal candidate is confident in their ability to take a project from the start and kick off stage through final delivery, including overseeing and managing the following functions as related to each specific project.

Job Responsibilities :

Assist in the selection of vendors to each project

Vendor research, negotiation and contracts

Schedule projects from kick off through pre-production, shoots, post-production, and delivery

Create shoot schedules and shot lists

Ensure project timelines are met and up to date.

Conduct location research and procure selected locations

Provide onsite location and studio management for shoots

Assist with casting and talent contracts and releases

Ensure compliance with legal regulations with guidance from 9R legal and producers.

Project status and reporting through the life cycle of the assigned projects including facilitating communication with other departments for reviews, asset creation, deliverables, and scheduling

Assistant with props, set dressing and wardrobe procurement and set up

Set up new vendors and process vendor payment with accounting

Attend kick off meetings for assigned projects

Fill in for Producer as needed or act as lead producer as needed to the appropriate scale of production complexity.

Assist Lead Photographer and Videographer during and after production

Ensure proper coordination of studio functions for video and photo projects pertaining to the physical studio space

Qualifications :

2+ years’ related experience in video and photography production

Understanding of agency role between clients and productions and / or production companies / vendors

Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as required

High level of motivation and persistence and is goal and detail oriented

High level of initiative and ability to work well in a team environment

Understanding of broadcast and digital platform and standards

Basic understanding of photography and video techniques

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well

Ability to follow specific detailed direction
