We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 78-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This role commences on Nov 3, 2025, and encompasses three 12-hour day shifts per week, including some weekends, with shift hours potentially ranging from 9 AM to 9 PM or 1 PM to 1 AM. This position requires acute care expertise in a fast-paced emergency setting, utilizing the Epic EMR system to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a trauma center.
  • Utilize advanced practice skills to diagnose, treat, and manage patient health problems.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments with attention to accuracy and patient safety.
  • Perform procedures pertinent to acute emergency care settings.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery.
  • Document all patient care services and interactions in the Epic EMR system.

  • Required Board Certifications : Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC); Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP); Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP-BC)
  • Must hold a valid Missouri Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Prior experience in an academic setting and trauma center is essential.
