JOB OVERVIEW

  • Clinical Shift Schedule : Weekday clinic and hospital coverage
  • On-Call Shift Schedule : 1 : 3 call rotation

PATIENT INFORMATION

  • Patient Demographics : Adults requiring kidney care
  • Dialysis Volume : Approx. 70 patients (50 hemodialysis, 20 peritoneal dialysis)
  • Case Mix : Chronic kidney disease, dialysis management, inpatient nephrology consultations
  • ICU : 17-bed open ICU with 24 / 7 eICU support and hospitalist coverage

    • FACILITY INFORMATION

  • Dialysis Center : Local 20-chair dialysis center
  • ICU Coverage : 24 / 7 hospitalist and eICU support
  • Equipment : CRRT available
  • Support Staff Available : 1 Physician and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APRs)

  • Hospital Privileges Required : Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline : TBD

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certifications : Board Certified / Board Eligible in Nephrology
  • Experience : Open to new graduates and experienced nephrologists
  • Other Qualifications : - Strong interest in comprehensive nephrology care - Excellent collaboration and patient communication skills

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient nephrology services
  • Oversee dialysis care for HD and PD patients
