Job Summary :

Excellent opportunity for experienced surgeon that specializes in Trauma / Surgical Critical Care to join Level I Trauma Center at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Qualified Candidates :

• Board eligible or board certified in Surgical Critical Care
• Must have or be able to obtain active SC medical license prior to start
• Employed position to join our existing team of surgeons and APPs in an HCA owned practice
• Call requirements : there is a rotating weekly call schedule rotating between trauma, emergency general surgery and surgical ICU. When on a service week, there will be a 24 hour call expectation from Friday to Sunday covered by the 3 surgeons currently on service each covering a different 24 hour call day. Off service attendings rotate to cover 12 hour night call from Monday to Thursday.
• All the surgeons participate in accordance with the ACGME in teaching of surgical residents and rotating residents from other specialties.
