PRN Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA)- 2-10pm

Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) / Med Tech :

(Must have CNA license and KMA certification for consideration)

POSITION PURPOSE :

Ensure proper dosage, distribution, and documentation of medication administration in accordance with

physician orders and following State and Federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION :

• Prepare medications for resident administration as specified in the physician order, verifying

medication, dose, route, time, and reason for administration.

EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS :

A State Registered Nurse Aide that has successfully completed Kentucky Medication Aide training.

Maintain current / active SRNA and KMA status by completing required annual training.
