job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOrientation is bi-weekly with upcoming start dates on 10 / 27, 11 / 10, and 11 / 24. Duke Lifepoint Hospital has 294 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more. Located in Wilson, NC, 45 miles east of Raleigh, 2 hours from the coast of NC, and 1 hour from major universities such as Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and East Carolina University. Facility is 15 minutes drive to Lake Wilson and home to the historic Fleming Stadium. Meditech experience preferred. Must have PACU experience. ICU experience preferred. Required certifications : ACLS and PALS. Minimum 2 years of experience. Must be willing to work 8x5 and 4x10 shifts as needed. Shift varies from 0700-1800 with start and end times rotating among staff. Weekly guaranteed hours : 40. Call requirements : Yes, typically 1 / week and every 3-4 weekends. Unit : Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Shift varies from 0700-1800 with rotating start and end times. Call requirements : Typically 1 / week and every 3-4 weekends. Patient ratios per ASPAN standards. Equipment includes cardiac monitors, IV equipment, SCD’s, nasal O2, Omni Cell, blanket warmer. EHR : Meditech. Patient population includes all except neonates. PACU experience required; ICU experience preferred. Unit Profile : Facility Name - Wilson Medical Center, Floor - Post Anesthesia Recovery. Trauma Level : None. Facility Department / Cost Center : PACU / 704. Role : RN. Specialty : PACU. Number of Openings : 1. Float requirements : Not required but may be asked to help in other surgical services if needed and available. Number of Beds : 8 + 1 Isolation Room. Patient Ratios per ASPAN Standards : Can be 1 : 1, 1 : 2, or 2 : 1. Equipment includes Cardiac Monitors, IV equipment, SCD’s, Nasal O2, Omni Cell, Blanket Warmer. EHR system : Meditech. Patient Population : All except neonates. Must have skills / experience : PACU experience required. Preferred skillset : ICU experience. Common Diagnosis / Treatment : Post OP surgical patients, typically general anesthesia. Personality fit : Pleasant, positive, and a team player. Dress Code : Expected to comply with HR Dress Code Policy, no inappropriate or revealing clothing.
