Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement wildlife monitoring on private lands in central Appalachia
Coordinate the deployment of bioacoustics recorders and camera trap stations
Manage and analyze survey data, preparing reports for landowners and project sponsors
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in wildlife or related field preferred; bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience considered
Knowledge of wildlife monitoring techniques, especially bioacoustics
Expertise in identifying eastern bird species by sight and sound
Experience with automated recording units and data processing software
Ability to work independently in remote areas and manage multiple projects
