Job Summary : OMC, a rural hospital dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities, is seeking a board-certified Allergist to join our healthcare team at OMC! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide variety of allergic conditions, including asthma, rhinitis, food allergies, and other immune system-related disorders. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for rural medicine and the ability to form meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients with allergic conditions (e.g., asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, food allergies, drug allergies).
• Perform allergy testing, including skin and blood tests, and interpret results accurately.
• Administer allergy shots (immunotherapy) and educate patients about their treatment options.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, pulmonologists, and pediatricians, to provide multidisciplinary care.
• Educate patients and families about allergy management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
• Engage in community outreach and education to raise awareness about allergic conditions and available treatments.
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC (EMR) system.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated on advancements in allergy and immunology.
