Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY :

Project Based QC Manager responsible to plan, direct, supervise, and implement project quality control activities in compliance with applicable company standards and programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Prepare quality control procedures (work controlling documents) and review other department procedures for compliance and / or correctness.
• Prepare, obtain approval, issue and implement company quality control (assurance) program manual in compliance with owner contract and company requirements.
• As required by quality control program manual, perform activities such as audits, preparation of quality problems, etc.
• Provide administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel
• Act as liaison with owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and / or internal departments on quality related matters as required.
• Ensure company standards as outlined in quality control (assurance) manual are effectively implemented.
• Insure adequate corrective measures are implemented in case on noncompliance.
• Assist in preparation of responses to RFQ's and RFP's regarding QA and QC programs.
• Perform internal / external audits to ensure quality control requirements are implemented and / or maintained.

RELATIONSHIPS :

Reports to the director of Central Engineer and Quality Management and closely interacts with all levels of team members within the organization.

WORKING CONDIDITIONS :

Role will be site based, working on an active construction site. 70% of duties are performed in a temperature controlled, fluorescent-light environment, 30% of duties are performed in the field. Others impose 100% of deadlines. Some lifting between 0-20lbs is required.
