Volunteer Role

We’re seeking volunteers to support the Leaps in Literacy program at Terryberry Library (100 Mohawk Rd W, Hamilton, ON L9C 1W1). This program provides one-on-one literacy tutoring for children and youth, and volunteers play an important role in keeping the program running smoothly.

Volunteer Role Includes :

• Greeting families and helping students find their assigned tutor
• Directing parents to the designated waiting area
• Assisting with light supervision as students wait for pickup
• Supporting set-up and clean-up of the space
