POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Programs Director; provides management and coordination of Advocacy Services. May also serve as an active member of the Project Woman leadership team, contributing to organizational planning and decision making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinates all aspects of Advocacy Services Program including the 24-hour crisis line and on-call response.
2. Provides direct supervision of all staff associated with Advocacy, ensuring services are trauma-informed, survivor- defined, and holistic for survivors.
3. Builds and maintains collaboration between Project Woman and local hospitals, law enforcement agencies and other community agencies.
4. Facilitates Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and serves on other internal agency committees as assigned.
5. Trains Project Woman staff, staff of social service agencies and other stakeholders and partners related to rights, resources, and advocacy for victims of crime, particularly domestic / intimate partner violence, stalking, sexual assault, and human trafficking as assigned.
6. Collects and maintains documentation and data in accordance with agency policy and procedure, government regulations, funding requirements, and in keeping with Violence Against Women Act and best practices.
7. Maintains monthly Program statistics; manages database as necessary to ensure accurate data tracking. Maintains outcome measurement for the Program; provides all necessary Program reporting per agency and funding requirements.
8. Assists the agency in meeting its PQI, evaluation, and reporting as required by federal, state, and local.This includes participating in the collection, interpretation, and application of data, contributing to the development of project and agency objectives and outcomes and indicators, and setting goals, as well as using program and client outcome data to improve service delivery.
9. Participates in rotation of Crisis Response to hospital and law enforcement as necessary; Provides back-up to on-call advocates to ensure adequate coverage and Crisis Response needs are met.
10. Participates in local Coordinated Community Response Teams as assigned. Assists in developing and maintaining local CCRTs and SARTs in regional service area. Serves on Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition and participates in MDT through the Child Advocacy Center.
11. Networks with state and national coalitions as assigned, representing Project Woman on assigned committees and caucuses.
12. Assists with reaccreditation process through the Council on Accreditation.
13. Performs other duties as needed, requested, or as assigned.

Employees must be able to control their emotions and remain calm. This is a high stress occupation and self-care is essential as is the ability to handle stress in a positive manner.
