JOB OVERVIEW

  • Job Type : Part-Time (with option for Full-Time)
  • Location : OSF Saint Anthony s Health Center, Illinois
  • Service Setting : GI Lab, Outpatient Clinic, Inpatient Rounding
  • Coverage Type : Clinical + Call
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday; 8 9 hour days
  • Estimated Shifts per Month : 14
  • Call Type : In-House Weeknight Call
  • Call Frequency : Weeknights during scheduled weeks
  • On Call Admissions : Average 4 per night

COVERAGE DETAILS

  • Start Date : As soon as credentialed (estimated 60 days)
  • End Date : Ongoing (open-ended need)

    • PRACTICE INFORMATION

  • Primary Duties : GI procedures (colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCP), clinic visits, inpatient rounding, consults
  • Procedures : Routine colonoscopies, scopes for bleeds, treatment of esophageal bleeders, EGDs
  • Daily Volume :
  • GI Lab : procedures / day
  • Clinic : patients / day
  • Setting : 49-bed hospital (lower inpatient volume)
  • Inpatient Rounding : Yes, daily as needed
  • Practice Support : Full-time APP in GI clinic

    • FACILITY INFORMATION

  • EMR System : EPIC
  • Support Staff : Full-time APP and GI team support
  • Privileges : Full privileges required (60 days to credential)
  • Will Work Solo : No

    • PATIENT INFORMATION

  • Patient Demographics : 100% Adult
  • Typical Diagnoses : Stable GI issues, bleeding, screening and diagnostic colonoscopies

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Illinois license required
  • Board Status : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CSR License (required)
  • DEA License : Required
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year post-training
  • Availability : Minimum 2 weeks per month; full-time applicants welcomed
