Job Description

Purrfurably Cats Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! This position is ideal for a skilled and confident technician who enjoys providing hands-on patient care in a feline-focused environment.

In this role, you will take an active part in surgical and dental procedures, including managing anesthesia, monitoring patients through recovery, and ensuring accurate charting and documentation. You will perform dental prophylaxis, obtain radiographs, complete extractions, and suture gingiva as needed. Throughout each procedure, you’ll prioritize patient comfort, gentle handling, and adherence to the highest standards of care.

This position is well-suited for an experienced RVT who thrives in procedure-based work, values precision and compassion, and enjoys working as part of a team dedicated exclusively to feline medicine.

This is a flexible full-time or part-time position with 8 hours shifts scheduled Monday through Friday.

Full-time benefits and compensation

Compensation : $30-35 per hour, for each hour worked
Bonus package : $2000
CE allowance : up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set :

3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting

Current Registered Veterinary Technician License in the state of California

Proficiency in the following skills :

Venipuncture, administering injections and placing IV catheters

Anesthetic induction and monitoring

Dental prophy, charting, radiographs and extractions
