Entry Level Dental Assistant (DA) X-Ray Licensed

Location : Goleta, CA

Pay : $22 / hour (Up to $28 / hour for RDAs)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Goleta Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. If you are passionate about patient care and meet the qualifications below, we'd love to hear from you!

Must-Haves :

  • Valid X-Ray license (required)
  • Dental Assistant diploma from an accredited program
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • No prior experience necessary we welcome new graduates!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Chairside Assisting : Support dentists during procedures, prepare trays, and manage instruments.
  • Radiologic Duties : Take intraoral, bitewing, and panoramic X-rays while following radiation safety protocols.
  • Patient Interaction : Greet patients, review medical histories, and provide oral hygiene and post-op care education.
  • Sterilization & Infection Control : Clean and stock exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure compliance with SBNC protocols.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records (EHR), schedule appointments, and assist with charting.

    • The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / hr.
