Senior Maintenance Technician / Facilities Mechanic / HVAC Maintenance Technician

🔧 We're Hiring : Senior Maintenance Technician! 🔧

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure optimal performance of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in maintenance operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programs.

📍 Location : Philadelphia, PA

⏰ Work Mode : Work From Office

💼 Role : Senior Maintenance Technician

Shifts available : Thursday – Sunday

Friday – Monday or

Saturday - Tuesday

Hours are 8am – 7pm

What You'll Do :

Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Troubleshoot equipment and ensure reliable operation of facility utilities (chillers, boilers, AHUs).

Conduct inspections, respond to alarms, and maintain compliance with safety and building codes.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs.

Support furniture setup, space reconfiguration, and internal moves.

Manage parts inventory, work orders, and vendor coordination.

Maintain accurate records and technical documentation.

Comply with company safety, environmental, and quality standards.

What We're Looking For :

Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification (HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing preferred).

Philadelphia Engineer Grade A License – highly desirable.

5+ years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance.

Proficiency with Building Management Systems (Siemens Desigo) and CMMS software (Blue Mountain).

Strong understanding of electrical systems, chillers / boilers, and mechanical utilities.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Background :

Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom environments.

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and PPE compliance.

Physical Requirements :

∙Must be able to wear appropriate clean room attire and all Personal Protective

Equipment (PPE), i.e. scrubs, gowning coverall, masks, gloves, etc.

∙Must meet requirements for and be able to wear a half-face respirator.

∙Able to stand and / or walk 90% (and sit 10%) of a 10-12-hr day which may include

climbing ladders or steps.

∙Able to crouch, bend, twist, reach, and perform activities with repetitive motions.

∙Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds.
