Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical / Surgical Telemetry

Shift : 12-Hour Days | Every Third Weekend & Every Other Holiday

Interview Process : Prescreen-to-Offer (ITO)

Scrubs : Navy Blue

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic 30-bed Med / Surg Telemetry Unit (3 East) with a strong focus on neurology and complex medical patients . This unit offers exposure to a wide range of conditions including neuro, cardiac, renal, and general med / surg—ideal for LPNs looking to broaden their clinical skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Unit Specialties :

  • Patient Population :

    • Neurology / Neurosurgical

  • Cardiac (including post-cath without intervention, stable arrhythmias, post-pacemakers, syncope)
  • Renal (including chronic renal failure)
  • General Medical / Surgical patients
  • Telemetry Monitoring :

    • Stable cardiac rhythms

  • Post-cardiac procedures
  • Drips :

    • Heparin only

  • Respiratory Support :

    • Stable tracheostomies

  • BiPAP, CPAP, High-flow oxygen (up to 6L)
  • No ventilator-dependent patients

    • Qualifications :

  • Licensure : Active LPN license (State or Compact)
  • Certifications Required : BLS
  • EKG Exam : Required ( Only the rhythm interpretation portion; no medication questions )

    • Schedule & Expectations :

  • Shift : 12-Hour Days
  • Weekends / Holidays : Every third weekend and every other major holiday
  • Call Requirement : None
  • Prescreening : ITO (Interview-to-Offer) proces
