GCP-Druid-Lead Support Engineer

The Role

Prodapt is seeking a Druid support Engineer who has strong experience with Druid. Platform support engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Druid clusters on onprem.
• Monitor the health and performance of Druid clusters, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve performance and availability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and optimize Druid queries and data pipelines.
• Work with other members of the engineering team to ensure that Druid clusters integrate seamlessly with other data systems, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Google BigQuery.
• Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment pipelines for Druid clusters.
• Druid ops is required which includes configuration.

Installation and patch updates

Linux shell scripts, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, GKE, MySQL.
