We are seeking a seasoned Director of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) to lead operations at our client hospital in Greensboro, NC. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced HTM professional who thrives in managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring the highest standards in clinical engineering services. You will oversee a broad portfolio of medical equipment, provide hands-on guidance, and deliver strategic leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant healthcare technology operations.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of supervisors and biomedical technicians, fostering mentorship, growth, and high performance.
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and calibration of a diverse range of clinical and medical devices.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service quality.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to align biomedical services with patient care priorities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including CIHQ, DNV, and Joint Commission (JCAHO) , and hospital safety protocols.
- Manage departmental budgets, vendor relationships, and equipment contracts.
- Identify opportunities for professional development and continuous improvement within the HTM team.
- Support capital planning, project management, and strategic initiatives to grow clinical engineering capabilities.
Qualifications :
5+ years of leadership experience in biomedical services within a large healthcare system.Proven experience working with executive leadership and C-suite stakeholders to align HTM strategies with organizational goals.Strong knowledge of clinical device maintenance, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with staff, vendors, and clinical teams.Demonstrated business acumen, budget management experience, and decision-making skills.A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams , mentoring both new and existing staff.Why Join Us :
