Responsibilities Work in an acute care cardiac cath lab environment Single lab and procedure room setup equipped with XIM software and x-ray technology Main procedures include cardiac catheterization, peripheral catheterization, VNUS closure, and occasional interventional radiology cases Uses Epic for electronic medical records Monday to Friday day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM with call coverage until 5 : 00 PM daily No weekends or holidays required Call team consists of 2 RNs and 1 technologist No floating to other units Primary responsibilities include scrubbing for cardiac and peripheral caths, VNUS closure, and IR procedures Thorough orientation provided with preceptor support and sign-off on competency for each procedure Ceil blue scrubs provided All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility Clinicians with past employment at the associated health system must have a minimum 6 month gap since last employment Local candidates are accepted with adjusted pay for those living within an 80-mile radius Requirements Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience with scrubbing required Current RCIS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required Experience with XIM software and x-ray equipment preferred Ability to participate in call coverage as scheduled Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627162.
