We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Job Developer / Disability Employment Specialist to join our Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) Services Program. As the Job Developer, you will work directly with individuals with disabilities to provide career assessment and counseling services. You will help clients develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce through opportunities including job shadows, internship placements, soft skills training, task analysis, systematic instruction, job preparation, job development, and job retention services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB DEVELOPER :

• Assess employment readiness of individuals, determine barriers and needs for accommodations.
• Meet with consumers in PSG offices, libraries, job centers, community buildings, or via Internet or telephone.
• Reach out to employers to present the DVR Programs and consumers available for employment.
• Complete billing and reports as required.

LOCATION : Office is located in West Allis, WI. Local travel will be required throughout the Milwaukee area to meet with clients. Client meetings may be scheduled at our office, at community centers, or within client homes. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

SCHEDULE : Part-time 15-20 hours per week. Flexible 4-5 hours per day generally during the hours of Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm. Additional hours outside this timeframe may be required to accommodate clients' availability.

SALARY : $19.00-20.00 per hour
