Responsibilities
The Systems Engineer (SE) will be a member of the Sponsor's ERP Management Division (EMD), Payroll Migration Team, providing IT support to the government Program Manager overseeing a high-priority, large-scale effort to migrate the Sponsor's payroll to a shared service provider.
- Leading technical discussions with interface partners in assessing the current and future state of payroll applications / systems
- Analyzing the current state of all the Agency's payroll applications, systems, and interfaces
- Assisting in identifying and documenting the payroll business processes, and assist in data mapping of current state payroll systems to future-state payroll systems
- Assisting in documenting all of the internal and external payroll interfaces associated with the payroll applications / systems
- Designing the future state of all the Agency's payroll applications, systems and interfaces
- Perform data mapping and analysis of current data fields against a shared service provider's requirements needed to support payroll processing
- Assist with designing and building a cloud-based bi-directional interface with our payroll shared service provider
- Addressing issues related to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
- Work with business and technical partners to deliver robust systems that meet stakeholder needs
Qualifications
