Position Summary

The family physician has a vital role in providing medical assessment and treatment for eating disorder patients at our recovery centers. The family physician acts as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team providing treatment of eating disorders and related or comorbid medical conditions. Our environment is gender-inclusive, and we serve clients of all ages across multiple levels of care. The family physician also serves as a resource to the medical and behavioral treatment teams to help guide best-practice medical care.

Educational Opportunities

The Emily Program offers a comprehensive selection of no-cost continuing education courses on eating disorders and related topics. Eligible employees are provided with up to 25 hours each year to attend any internal or external training. Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses that can have devastating consequences, and we recognize the role healthcare professionals play in identifying and addressing these illnesses early on which is why it's important to us that you are empowered with the right resources.
