Partner with fellow educators to plan instruction, analyze data, and refine teaching practice through professional learning and coaching. Build strong partnerships with families to support academic and personal success. Serve as a mentor and role model, contributing to STEM Prep’s culture of excellence and belonging. What You Bring A Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Education, Mathematics, or a related field , with a Tennessee Teaching License (endorsement in Middle Grades Math). Strong math content knowledge and a passion for helping students build confidence and conceptual understanding. A deep commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging —ensuring every student feels seen and supported. A growth mindset and a “whatever it takes” attitude to help students reach ambitious academic goals. As a math educator at STEM Prep, you’ll go beyond formulas and equations, helping students uncover the “why” behind the numbers through hands-on exploration, inquiry-based lessons, and real-world applications.
