Accumet Engineering Inc, is an industry-leading advanced processing manufacturer for new and legacy materials fabrication, precision laser services, and critical component assembly. We are looking for an experienced Laser CNC Laser Metal cutting Machine operator to join our team in our Devens facility.

We are looking for an intelligent, enthusiastic person to train in our CNC Laser Metal Cutting Department. Understanding manufacturing Blueprints / Drawings is a MUST. Knowledge in cutting various types of metal is helpful. Some knowledge of programming (CAM, Solidworks) is helpful but not needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with laser cutting metal or other materials.
• Knowledge of CNC Programs such as G Code and Axis Movements.
• Must be able to adjust parameters and feed rates according the material being cut.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments. - Experience with CAM programming is a plus. - Understanding of blueprint reading, manufacturing, and machining

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; lift and / or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision ability is required which includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
