Agile Specialist (Remote in US) at Monks
Join Monks as an Agile Specialist who will report to the Manager, Agile Practices and collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to solve important technical problems.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead continuous planning, ensuring ongoing planning for and visibility to a rolling quarter plus plan for the teams you support.
- Maintain engineering team schedules, ensure proper resource planning, and translate estimates to key milestone dates.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and timelines to keep programs on track.
- Remove obstacles hindering the team's progress.
- Promote Agile best practices and educate team members to enhance performance and productivity.
- Coordinate communication between teams, departments, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Ensure engineers have necessary product requirements and UX designs to stay on track and meet deadlines.
- Support JIRA management for the teams and other tooling as appropriate.
- Provide burndown charts, velocity tracking, and other Agile metrics to inform issues and decisions.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years' experience in an Agile environment with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.At Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
