Description
Assist in the manufacturing production of electronics with primary emphasis being the inspection and quality control of completed wire harnesses.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily inspections of finished electronics prior to shipment to ensure goals are being met
- Provide technical support and assistance to builders
- Conduct in-process inspections
- Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections
- Troubleshoot and assist with the repair of issues as needed
- Follow compliance of AS9100 documentation requirements as applied to production
- Assist in the implementation and compliance of quality department initiatives, programs, policies, and goals
- Record and report on quality issues
- Support and contribute process improvement ideas
- Work with a variety of testing equipment
- Comprehend and read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Comprehend mechanical aptitude and abilities
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other employee owners, team leads, and production supervisorsBasic math and computer skillsHighly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have a positive attitude with a customer appreciation mentalityAbility to lift 50lbs on a regular basisAbility to stand and perform repetitive work for long periods of timeBasic PLC programming experience preferredPrevious UL experience is a plusAttention to detail with the ability to problem solveOperate with a sense of teamworkTimberline Manufacturing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
