The Senior Graphic Designer visually communicates the Gospel and the message of BattleCreek Church through excellent, on-brand design across print and digital platforms. This role supports a wide range of ministry areas by bringing clarity, creativity, and consistency to everything we communicate whether through graphics, social media content, promotional campaigns, ministry resources, or signage.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about using their design skills to serve the church, support ministry leaders, and help tell the story of what God is doing across our campuses.

Your Day-to-Day No two days are exactly the same—but that’s what makes it fun. As our Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll get to :

Make the Gospel visual. From sermon series to ministry campaigns, you’ll design graphics that help people see and understand the message of Jesus more clearly.

Design with purpose. Whether it’s social media, signage, or digital content, you’ll bring clarity, excellence, and consistency to the way BattleCreek communicates.

Collaborate like a champ. You’ll work with a team of talented creators, video editors, and ministry leaders who are just as passionate as you are about helping people take their next step with Christ.

Create in rhythm. You’ll juggle multiple projects, staying ahead of deadlines and keeping excellence at the center.

Think like an artist, deliver like a pro. You know how to dream big and execute well, using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and staying sharp with trends, best practices, and new ideas.

Capture moments that matter. From time to time, you’ll help with content creation efforts like photo shoots or campaign visuals that help tell the story of what God is doing across our campuses.

Serve with heart. This role isn’t about building your portfolio—it’s about building the Church. Every design is a chance to minister through creativity.

What We’re Looking For The Must-haves For This Role Education & Experience : We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (not required) and at least 5+ years of experience in graphic design. Experience in motion graphics would be helpful, with ministry experience in a multi-site environment as an added plus.

The Essentials Depending on the role, you might find yourself in an office, on stage, out in the community, or working behind the scenes. Evening and weekend hours may be required—it’s all part of ministry life!

This role is primarily office-based but may involve some physical activity, including standing, lifting (up to 20 pounds), kneeling, setting up equipment, or prepping for events—sometimes even late at night. Don’t worry; we’ll ensure you know what to expect!
