The OB / GYN department offers specialized care for women, including comprehensive prenatal care, preventive health screenings and general gynecology. If necessary, the expertise of other gynecologic specialists is available in areas such as infertility, high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic cancer. As a Medical Assistant on this team, you will collaborate with fellow staff to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for patients, families and visitors. You will assist with medication management, patient monitoring, administrative tasks and more. All your work helps ensure the best possible health outcomes.

A caregiver in this position works 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm from Monday to Friday. Potential coverage includes weekends and evenings as needed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will :

• Assist with performing screenings and treatments by gathering and updating information related to health maintenance, identifying medication changes, updating allergy information, collecting specimens, performing tests and documenting patient care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative / clerical duties, such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
