Job Description

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Toledo, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service while assisting employees and visitors. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license that meets company policy. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations that arise on site, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or irregularities found during patrols to Allied Universal management and / or site supervisors.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials of personnel or visitors as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities as instructed, assisting with evacuations or other procedures when appropriate.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, staff, and visitors while representing Allied Universal at the manufacturing and industrial location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
