Peoplelink Staffing is looking to add a quality inspector on 3rd shift in Newaygo, Michigan!

Quality Inspector Overview :

• 3rd shift, 6-7 days a week
• $17 / hr

Quality Inspector Responsibilities :

Conduct inspections on incoming and finished products using tools like calipers, micrometers, plug & pin gauges, and manual layout methods.

Interpret and verify compliance with blueprints, industry standards, and GD&T.

Prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) per AS9102 and conduct 5S and floor-layer audits.

Use Windows-based tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) to document findings and assist month-end shipments.

Report to Quality Supervisor, support audits, and comply with procedures

Qualifications :

At least 2 years of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficiency with measuring tools and blueprint / GD&T interpretation

Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)

Soft Skills & Additional Requirements

Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality processes

Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and production teams

Ability to read and document findings accurately in English
