• Beds : 6 scanners (currently operating 5 scanners)
• Experience : 3-5 years in MRI
• First-time traveler : Yes
• Weekly census – 250-300 patients
• Patient Types :
• Outpatient, Inpatient, ED : patients with Implantable Devices, Neuro, Oncology, Musculoskeletal, Ventilated, Sedated, Whole body.
• Patient Ratios :
• 1 : 1
• Required Certifications :
• BLS
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• Skills required
• Experience with the above patient types
• GE and Siemens experience required
• Support on the Unit :
• Lead Tech / Coordinator
• Imaging Assistants
• Traveler will never be alone
• Charting System / Equipment :
• EPIC – required
• GE Discovery 750W - required
• Siemens Aera - required
• Siemens Magentom Skyra - required
• McKesson PACS – required
• Floating :
• None – MRI only
• Orientation :
• 3 days of orientation
• Scheduling :
• Weekend rotation : maximum every 3rd weekend
• Can we approve time off? NM approval
• On Call - Sat and Sun night 2100-0630
• Back up on call – Sat and Sun 0630-210
• 30 min response time
