Material Handler / Coordinator

The material handler moves, delivers and stores raw materials and finished goods in production or warehouse areas. Works directly under the supervision of the supply chain or operations leader.

• Bring packaging materials, components, tools and other supplies to workstations as needed.
• Responsible for the unloading of the material from the trucks and inspection for any possible damage reporting any issues to the buyers.
• Ensures the accuracy of all receipts and shipments against applicable paperwork and system data where applicable, report and discrepancies to the buyers.
• Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all related receiving and shipping system transactions
• Issues materials to departments in the organization upon request.

This involves being responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all related system transactions.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience :

High school Diploma or GED

Experience in a warehouse environment and familiarity with FedEx and UPS.

Forklift driving experience.
