Description :

Travel RN position available in a telemetry unit.

The unit has 32 beds and staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 to 8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter on day shifts.

Night shift staffing is similar.

Patient ratios are typically 4 or 5 to 1.

The unit uses a GE telemetry system and Meditech as the electronic medical record.

Candidates with telemetry experience will be prioritized for this role.

Experience with post-operative CABG patients is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, a team player, and willing to take initiative.

Typical procedures include IV and Foley catheter starts as well as chest tube removal.
