Job Title : Instructional Designer

Location : Hybrid Oak Brook, IL 60523

Duration : 6 Months

Pay Rate : $51 / hour (W2, no PTO)

Shift : 1st Shift | Full-time | Monday Friday | 8 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM

Work Authorization : US Citizen, Green Card, or EAD holders only

Interview Process : Virtual

Work Arrangement : Hybrid (on-site as needed)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing classroom-based, instructor-led training materials and must be well-versed in applying the ADDIE model. You ll support learning initiatives across Customer Care, Revenue Management, and Billing functions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop instructional materials using the ADDIE model.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and analyze content.
  • Produce engaging, learner-centric materials for instructor-led training.
  • Ensure adherence to brand style, content standards, and project deadlines.
  • Apply strong writing and visual formatting skills in MS Office tools.
  • Provide deliverables for hybrid training environments when needed.

Must-Have Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of demonstrated instructional design experience.
  • Proven ability to develop learning materials independently (work samples required).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience using SnagIt and / or Snipping Tool.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and ask effective questions of SMEs.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines proactively and creatively.
  • Education :

  • Bachelor s Degree required.
  • Deal Breakers :

  • Lack of demonstrable instructional design experience.
  • Inability to provide work samples created independently.
  • Additional Information :

    Candidates may be asked to respond to a scenario-based question and identify what information they would seek from a subject matter expert or team member. Pre-screening will include verification of instructional design experience and sample work.
