Scheduler Position
Citizens Health is recruiting a scheduler to work full-time at CMC, our acute care facility.

About Us : Citizens Health is a community based, private, not-for-profit organization. It is comprised of :
- Citizens Medical Center - a 25 bed critical access hospital
- Family Center for Health Care - an outpatient rural health clinic
- Prairie Senior - a skilled nursing facility
- Citizens Clubhouse - an onsite childcare center that cares for children 6 weeks to school age for our workforce
- Citizens Medical Equipment - our durable medical equipment business
- Palace Drug - our outpatient pharmacy

Location : 100 E College Ave, Colby, Kansas
Position Information : Schedules appointments for departments throughout Citizens Medical Center.
Responsible to the Scheduling Supervisor
Days : Monday through Friday
Hours : 8 am to 5 pm
Pay Range : Dependent upon experience.
What you'll do :
Coordinate communications between patients and medical staffSchedule appointments for cardiopulmonary, surgery, and other various departments throughout Citizens Medical CenterMail required paperwork to patients prior to appointmentAnswers telephones, screens, takes messages, and provides necessary informationStrict adherence to HIPAA, PHI, and confidentialityComplete other duties as assignedWhat you bring to the table :
Required - High School Diploma / GED Preferred - Medical terminology and 2 years related clerical experience in health care settingCustomer and personal service to include meeting needs, assess and resolve issues, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate satisfactionAbility to maintain good working relationship with all personnelAbility to communicate clearlyTo be successful within our organization you will need to :

Requires sitting at a desk while answering the telephone, placing phone calls and scheduling appointments on a computer.
